CSA Continued . . .

So here are some photos of what was in the CSA Box:

This is a closeup of the zucchini, carrots, squash, beets, and kale

This closeup is meant to show you the different varieties of beets that were in the box

And this is a nice shot of the carrots Kale and the few squashes that were in mine.
Like I said before, every box has essentially the same things, but they all varied slightly.

Great looking beets! I've been on a real beet kick lately. I bought some at the farmers market, came home and fixed them (for dinner).
and continued to eat the bunch for breakfast. That is not something i usually do. it's usually the left over cake that I grab! :)

Your box of fresh veggies looks great! There is a CSA that deliveres to Long Beach, but the cost of the box is much higher then $25. I recently moved from Covina to San Bernardino & found a wholesale distributor that allows the public to order a box of organic produce to pick up on Saturdays. So far, I'm loving my box each week. The quality is amazing. I'll have to take a picture of the box contents next time and post it on my new blog. What did you end up doing with all of those beets?
